Happy New Year to one and all!
With all the festivities over and done with, it’s time to get down to some serious writing. I am forging ahead with my new book, being determined to have it published by the Spring, (if not before).
My new book is called ‘The Musician’s Tale’. It’s a story of betrayal and broken promises set mainly in America. Again, it is Family History brought to life. The main characters were real people in the late 1800’s/early 1900’s. They were professional musicians and many of the events featured in the book actually happened, but probably 80% is created through my imagination. Though there was a mountain of information gleaned from historical newspapers, I was still faced with many curious gaps that had to be filled. And of course, those newspaper reports gave little indication as to the personalities of the characters. It is an exciting project, if a little daunting at times. When I get the cover designed, ‘The Musician’s Tale’ will be available for pre-order.
Promotion of ‘Unexpected Answers’ continues to take up much of my time and energy, but I’m happy that the book is ‘out there’. It is available on Smashwords in ebook format and on Amazon in paperback, Kindle and ebook. Amazon in their role of KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing) has just introduced some new technology for ebooks that is going to need my concentration if I want to keep up to date. More learning – Ah well!
